The Southern Steelhead FishPAC was established in November 2016, and includes Caltrans Districts 7, 11, and 12 (Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange), California Department of Fish and Wildlife Region 5 (South Coast), and the National Marine Fisheries Service Office jurisdiction of Long Beach. Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, and Imperial counties are the geographic focus of the Southern Steelhead FishPAC. These counties have current/historic habitat, or known fish barriers, on the State Highway System.

 

The Southern CA Coast Steelhead (Endangered) is the fish species of concern for the Southern Steelhead FishPAC.
